"sunlight bothers me"
striking down, stinging, vile,
ample and cruel, a monster swings,
takes long swig and gander, spell,
casting on my dry, bleeding flesh.
walking in open winds, under cloud,
terror beckons me from ripe coma’s found,
wakes me from slumbers in darkness,
havoc-laced rays stab me dead, loud.
in glistening pools my fate is shown,
rainbow halos and harps of pure gold.
echoes shake my steps as I’m blown,
across the world, carved and bold.
I am alive in the light-less void,
warm in my frozen depths, serene and fun.
I am a king over chilled ice plains,
but I feel my soul quickly die in the sun.
