"Skin Bitten"

dropped on my head, smashed into wall, down deep inside,
torn out from line, so drawn down deep in raw flesh,
heavy and clinging to bone so thick and ranging, color,
of the earth after multiple cycles, so utterly redrawn.

the lines and spheres that shape us all, our heads, tails,
fold inside cracks and under spats cease function, original,
truths sting bitter wounds tied up with perfect string,
the lies can't escape for they are bound to listen, deep.

the world's not full of sunny days and starry nights, awoke,
from rational dream to dillusion in escape, the taste of it,
so forth and so on, untimely demise of fantasy and dream,
relived, every moment of every day, dropped down again, bled.

so many traumas over so many years, to pick the one, robot,
built of wood without a brain, motion, or speech, torn apart,
would not it classify if it mattered, but it doesn't, no,
others much deeper, stronger than source, relived pain, a must.

wooden drag racer made with plastic wheels, a sham, piece of crap,
never ran, just sat there under weight and broke, snapped in half,
too young to know or see its fate, just glad to be building,
so keen to the task of making it great, so lonely, misled.

making mock deafness in brother, tearing arm out of socket, error,
snow pouring down to cover the world and close it off and away,
endless rites of passage and trivial course, so well bound, wrote,
even these eyes read only the lines and not between them, told.

aiming gun at frame of actor, face of ice so thus surrended,
truly apt for task of plunder, tear his heart out of place, remember,
no bullets here, no bullets there, no bullets anywhere,
laughing of clown with stick, laughing of man so slick, now dead.

no more laughs or words from aged lips, heart pains took them away,
chest spasm called soul back, toward hell for insults, harm so cruel,
missed tormentor, lost chance to reveal his answers, chance gone,
so onward walking while spirit talking, endless and ongoing, never fine.

lost striped tiger in lush jungle finding water, long lost sympathy,
rival creatures sitting like angels watch over lands east, jingerly,
if ever I fall on my head again, smash that mushy mellon, crack skull,
there's words and watered demons catching my stumbling falls, full.

endless mockery dropped down chutes and ladders, escape plan written,
walking down the road to sunrise, feeling fresh rain on my back, new,
kites now are high flying, the wind quite entertaining, truly, cool,
winds caressing the lines of ages, rubbed into flesh born, earthly bitten.
